This policy explains what personal information The CRM Strategy Co collects, why, who we share it with, how long we keep it and the rights you have. We keep it to what we need, and we never sell it.
Who we are
The CRM Strategy Co. Ltd. is a company registered in England and Wales, company number 15755678. We are the controller of the personal information described here.
For anything about your information, email hello@crmstrategy.com.
We are registered with the Information Commissioner's Office, registration number ZB782285.
When you visit this website
- Our website host counts page visits so we can see which pages are read. It records the page, the site you came from, your browser and device type and your rough location by country. It doesn't use cookies, and we can't identify you from it.
- Our hosting and security providers process your IP address to deliver the pages and videos and to protect the site from attacks.
- The site's fonts load from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google, which receives your IP address.
Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in running a secure website and understanding how it's used.
The revenue leak check
Your answers are scored in your browser and never leave it. We don't see them, store them or ask for your email.
When you contact us or book a call
We keep your name, email address, company, job title and anything you tell us, so we can reply and follow up. Bookings are made through Google Calendar, which processes your booking for us.
We may record and transcribe video calls so we have accurate notes. We'll always tell you at the start of the call, and we won't record if you'd rather we didn't.
Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in replying to you and talking about working together, or taking the steps you ask for before a contract.
Business contacts we approach
We contact people at businesses we think we could help. We find them through public professional sources, such as LinkedIn and business contact databases, and we use only work details: name, job title, company, work email, work phone number and professional profile.
Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in telling businesses about our services. Every message makes it easy to say no, and if you ask us to stop, we stop and keep only enough to make sure we don't contact you again.
Clients
When we work together we keep the contact details of the people we work with, our contracts, invoices and records of the work. Our legal basis is the contract between us, and our legal duty to keep financial records.
Who we share it with
We use trusted providers to run the business, and they act only on our instructions:
- Google, for email, calendar, booking and documents
- HubSpot, our customer database
- Lovable, which hosts this website
- Cloudflare, which hosts our videos and protects the site
- LinkedIn and Linked Helper, for LinkedIn messages
- Apollo.io, for business contact details
- Fireflies, for call recordings and notes
Some of these providers are based in the United States. Where your information goes outside the UK, it's protected by the UK's adequacy regulations or by the UK's approved contract clauses.
We never sell your information, and we only share it with anyone else if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries and business contacts: up to two years after we were last in touch, unless we start working together.
- Call recordings and transcripts: up to twelve months.
- Clients: six years after our work together ends, as the law requires for financial records.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it, delete it, limit how we use it or send it to you in a portable format. You can object to how we use it at any time, and if you object to us contacting you about our services, we'll stop.
Email hello@crmstrategy.com to use any of these rights. We'll reply within one month, and it won't cost you anything.
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, please tell us first. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
Cookies
This site sets only the cookies it needs to work: one from Cloudflare that tells people from automated attacks, and one from our website host that makes sure you see the current version of the site. Neither tracks you across other sites, and we use no advertising or analytics cookies, so there's nothing to accept or decline.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we use personal information, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
